Noise behaviour and load carrying capacity are important criteria for competitive power transmissions. Furthermore gear design aspires an increase in power density which leads to the demand of higher accuracy. The challenges to development, design and manufacturing of modern power transmissions are to meet these high requirements considering economic efficiency. To meet these requirements soft and hard finishing processes of gears as well as heat treatment have to become more reliable and capable. Current developments regarding gear finishing processes will be introduced during the seminar. Furthermore challenges and opportunities of these processes will be presented.
Experts from R&D and manufacturing will show the advantages of different technological opportunities. Also the influences of tool design and process strategy will be presented. In terms of an integral view of the whole process chain, quality and grinding burn control as well as innovative developments in the field of heat treatment will be also addressed.

parking permit ? (please fill in)

The RWTH Aachen has introduced her parking management with parking controls in her areas. Therefore you need a parking permit for parkzone U when visiting us with your own or rented car. We therefore kindly ask you to inform us whether you need a parking ticket or not. If you need a ticket we will send it to you. There will be no additional costs for you but we have to pay for it, so we kindly ask you to order a ticket only in case you really need one.
You find the corresponding parking area of parkzone U in the Forckenbeckstrasse (Visit WZLforum)
In the area around our seminar building the traffic and parking situation is affected by construction work of the RWTH Aachen Campus. We hope for your understanding. If you have got any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Exclusively for the purpose of postal submission of similar offers my name and address will be electronically processed and saved (subject to our AGB). We would appreciate to sent you our seminar-information:
